Sticks and stones may break your bones but Splitsticks won't. Played with HotRod™ sticks, it's the same tasty Slingerland 4-piece '60s kit that we used for Popsticks, but with a more laid-back sound - somewhere between the sound of brushes and regular sticks. Reduced velocity sampling means it uses minimal system resources. Close mic and room mic options give you scope to mix things up. Tracked through a '74 Neve desk, and as always onto a nice thick roll of tape.

Recorded through a 1974 EMI Neve desk at York St Studio. Recorded in stereo, directly to tape. Converted using Apogee Rosetta converters.
